elemoon wearable changes colour to match your outfit

elemoon bracelet

Looks like someone's in the pink

We've seen countless fitness bands and bracelets that connect to your smartphone, but this one does something a little different – it changes colour to match your outfit.

Here's how it works. You take a photo of your outfit using the smartphone app, and the elemoon bracelet will create a display pattern on its five rows of 15 LEDs to match. Wearing a red dress? It'll light up red. Polka dots? Expect spots on the pattern. And so on.

If it doesn't get it spot on, you can design your own patterns to complement what you're wearing.

It's a neat idea that means your jewellery and outfit never clash.

But elemoon is not just a pretty face. Rub the bracelet and it'll set your phone off so you can find it.

It syncs to your handset via Bluetooth, and can let you know when you've got an incoming call or text message. It can even display customised symbols to let you know who's getting in touch, so a heart for a lover, tick for a friend, and so on.

It's water-resistant, and comes in two sizes, and in two colours: gold or silver.

If you like the look of it, pledge your support over on the Kickstarter page. It's already raised over $26,000 of a $100,000 target.

A $25 pledge gets you a free t-shirt, $179 gets you a device ahead of everyone else, while $199 gets you device early plus a jewellery box to store it in. Pledge $10,000 or more, meanwhile, and you'll get a custom bracelet complete with precious gems and stones.
