Elgato Game Capture HD60 offers 1080p 60fps gameplay recording

Elgato has announced the Elgato Game Capture HD60, the latest gameplay capture solution.

The Elgato Game Capture HD60, as the name suggests, is capable of capturing your latest and greatest gameplay moments in full 1080p HD at a rate of 60fps.

Specially designed to work with the PS4 and Xbox One, Elgato has redesigned both the hardware and software of its latest Gameplay Capture system.

It is designed with a soft matte finish and sizes up at just 0.75-inches thick. It has a set of LED indicator lights, to keep you informed as to what’s going on in the box.

To support the capabilities of the Xbox One and PS4, the Elgato Game Cpture HD60 is built to work well with Twitch, YouTube and Ustream thanks to the new Steam Command.

This is combined with a new user interface, which aims to let you easily connect a webcam, add overlays and even add your own dulcet tones with a Live Commentary feature.

All footage is automatically recorded at full 1080p HD, so you don’t have to worry about what resolution you need to broadcast at.

The HD60 is also constantly recording, letting you slide back to previously recorded footage on your PC and Mac and choose the bits you want to keep.

The Elgato Game Capture HD60 is available to pre-order now at Maplin Online for £139.59. The HD60 will also be stocked at Amazon and other retailers in August.

You can download the Elgato Game Capture HD 2.0 software for free from the Elgato website (http://ift.tt/XY8gUE) for the latest features, as well as hardware support for the first Elgato Game Capture HD.
