LG G3 mini specs leaked, potential launch soon

The LG G3 mini specs have leaked online, just a week after the LG G3 launch.

Although the LG G3 isn’t yet available to buy, the rumours of a mid-range version of the QHD flagship have starting flowing in.

Indian import/export site Zauba has listed the LG G3 mini with a LGD722 model number, showing that the handset is heading to the country for testing.

This may suggest that the LG G3 mini launch is imminent and could arrive hot on the heels of the LG G3 itself.

According to the Zauba listing, the LG G3 mini will come with a 4.5-inch display of unknown resolution.

We sincerely doubt that it will be able to match the QHD 2560 x 1440p 5.5-inch display, but hopefully it’ll be a full 1080p HD affair.

The G3 mini should also come with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 8GB of internal storage bolstered by microSD card.

In the rear, expect to see a 5-megapixel camera. There’s no further information as to what features this will offer, or what the resolution of the front-facing snapper will be.

Overall, it looks like the LG G3 mini will be powered by a 2,100mAh battery.

Sadly, we haven’t been given any more details about the potential hardware of the LG G3 mini but it looks like we might not have long to wait before the phone is official unveiled.

When it is, it will have to compete with the likes of the HTC One E8 and HTC One Mini 2 , both new mid-range handsets from rival HTC.

The One Mini 2 offer a 4.5-inch 720p HD display running on a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU and 1GB of RAM. From the looks of the above leaked specs, the One Mini 2 and LG G3 mini could offer a very similar specs sheet.

This similarity even goes down to the 2,100mAh battery, but the One Mini 2 has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel rear sensor.
