The WWDC 2014 keynote is scheduled for tonight, June 2 at 6pm BST and you’ll be pleased to hear Apple is streaming it live.
If you’re keen to watch the keynote live stream at the annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, you’ll need to grab yourself an Apple product sharpish.
The Apple Events channel for streaming the presentation has just gone live on Apple TV set-top boxes. You’ll be able to access the channel if you have a second or third-generation Apple TV running software 5.0.2 or later.
If you don’t have an Apple TV, you can also watch the WWDC 14 live stream on Macs within the Safari browser, as long as your Mac is running OS X 10.6 or later.
You can also access the event live stream via iPhone or iPad devices running iOS 4.2 or a more recent iteration.
On iOS and Mac devices you’ll need to head to the Apple Events page of its website in order to access the live stream.
As with previous WWDC events, if you haven't got any Apple kit you won't be able to live stream the keynote.
This year, Apple is tipped to be focusing on software upgrades rather than hardware announcements, despite the rumours Apple may refresh its Apple TV set-top box this year.
Banners hung at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco where WWDC is held have already revealed Apple’s keynote will focus on iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 Yosemite tonight.
iOS 8 is expected to bring small UI tweaks to the existing iOS 7, but should hopefully introduce a new fitness-focused HealthBook app to iOS devices like the iPhone 5S.
As for OS X 10.10, which is expected to be called Yosemite after the Californian Yosemite National Park rather than Warner Bros character Yosemite Sam, it looks like Apple could introduce some more iOS/OS X crossover features.
These include a iOS 7 style Control Centre for Macs as well as a translucent bar for your apps, making a change from the current shelf set-up.
