OxygenOS images leak ahead of formal OnePlus unveiling

With OnePlus having recently announced plans to introduce its own Android-based operating system, images of the new OxygenOS have now leaked online.


With the ROM expected to be formally showcased on February 12, the software has been shown with a bright, vibrant, flat UI design.


A traditional tile-based set-up is segmented under section headers and the lockscreen options appear to feature minimalist weather alerts – namely the current temperature.

Set to replace the Cyanogen flavoured software on the company’s existing device, the OnePlus One, the new OxygenOS will make its official bow on the upcoming OnePlus 2.


As well as being segregated into headed categories, it appears that apps will be separated by large strokes of colour.
