Apple will showcase the completed version of the Apple Watch as well as show off the long-awaited 12-inch MacBook Air at a media event later this month, according to reports on Wednesday.
French Apple news site iGen (via MacRumors) says the launch may take place less than three weeks from now, on Tuesday February 24.
Just last week, during the company’s quarterly earnings conference call, CEO Tim Cook revealed the Apple Watch will go on sale in April.
Since the initial announcement in September, Apple has been fine turning the device and the operating system, so this event may give the company a chance to showcase the finished product before it hits the shelves.
One would also have to assume the firm would offer an update on the global availability and pricing of the device given the U.S. is the only country with a release schedule in place right now.
The company is also likely to reveal integration with some of the key third-party app developers with the usual array of demonstrations from outside parties. Earlier this week, we brought word Apple had requested devs have their apps completed for this month, perhaps with this event in mind?

As for the 12-inch MacBook Air, the company has been expected to bridge the gap between its 11-inch and 13-inch offerings.
However, the new iteration is rumoured to rock a Retina Display, a new slimmed-down fanless design and the new reversible Type C USA connector. It is also rumoured to include the new low-power Intel Core M processors.
The company may even have more up its sleeve for the event, which is likely to be revealed in due course. If Apple is indeed planning a special media event, we’ll likely get confirmation in the next couple of weeks.
