Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 official image leaks

An official-looking image of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 appears to have hit the web.

Samsung fan website SamMobile revealed the images of the third generation entry-level smartphone on Sunday.

It appears as if little has changed from the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, which was launched in February of last year. Its design has been subtly shifted to mirror that of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S4, but according to reports there's been no major upgrade to the internal specs.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is expected to ship with a 4-inch 800 x 480 TFT display, a 1GHz dual-core processor backed by 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera and a version of Android Jelly Bean possibly even 4.2.2. This all represents a very subtle advancement on last year's model.

It's also being suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 will ship in both single and dual-SIM configurations, which is an increasingly common move for entry-level smartphones.

There's no release date or pricing information for the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 as yet, but we shouldn't have to wait long to find out more.

Samsung is set to hold a launch event in London on June 20, so expect to see an official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 alongside the the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. The already-announced Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, with its rugged water-proof shell, should also get a full airing at the show.
