New HTC One Mini pictures have leaked online, kicking rumours of the expected 4.3-inch handset into overdrive ahead of an expected summer unveiling.
Tipped to be a smaller, scaled back rendition of the flagship HTC One, the rumoured HTC One Mini is also reported to be circulating under the moniker of the HTC M4.
Based on the leaked images, the HTC One Mini design will be an extension of the brushed metal finish found on the Sony Xperia Z rivalling One. Appearing slightly chunkier than its high-end counterpart, the HTC One Mini is expected to be slightly thicker and heavier in an effort to save money.
Seemingly set to boast a 4.3-inch 720p HD display identical in size to that found on the recently confirmed Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the HTC One Mini is said to be 0.4-inches smaller than its predecessor. The original HTC one sports a 4.7-inch display compared with the 5-inch offering aboard the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Although currently unconfirmed, the HTC One Mini is believed to be heading to market with a dual-core CPU in tow, down on the 1.7GHz quad-core offering of its full-size sibling. According to latest reports the handset will also boast 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM and the same 4-megapixel rear-mounted camera with UltraPixel technology as its big brother.
With a HTC One Mini release date rumoured for this August, it has been claimed the device will touch down around the 400 Euro (£341) mark. As always, we must stress that these leaks and rumours are unconfirmed and should be taken with a considerable pinch of salt.
