The Beyond: Two Souls UK release date has been confirmed by Sony, with the PS3 exclusive touching down on British soul on October 11.
Sony has revealed that the PS3 exclusive title, Beyond: Two Souls, will be arriving in the UK on October 11, just three days after its North American October 8 release date.
The game is being developed by Quantic Dream, who already has the extremely successful Heavy Rain to its name.
Launching for the PS3 in October, with as yet no PS4 release confirmed, Beyond: Two Souls stars Ellen Page as Jodie Holmes, a young girl with a psychic connection to a mysterious and powerful entity called Aiden.
Players can control both Jodie and Aiden, working as a duo with separate powers to evade those looking to capture Jodie for their own gains.
The game also features Willem Dafoe as a government scientist, with a penchant for the paranormal, working to uncover more about Jodie’s character and her psychic abilities.
According to David Cage, the Creative Director for Beyond: Two Souls, the new IP will offer players around 10 hours of gameplay.
We are bound to learn more about the new Quantic Dream title at E3 later this month, perhaps during the Sony PS4 E3 briefing on June 10.
Sony has yet to review the Sony PS4 hardware, choosing to focus on the features of its next-gen console during its February unveiling event.
“There’s plenty of time, we’ve got lots of information yet to give out on PlayStation 4,” said Michael Denny, Video President of Sony Worldwide Studios. “The initial announcement phase that we’re in now is just to explain the vision to everybody.”
“Part of that vision is we have created a console absolutely focused on games – and we want that to be gamers in the broadest sense as well.”
