Asus Transformer Pad Infinity
Asus has given its Asus Transformer Pad Infinity a 2013 refresh, introducing the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor to the docking Android tablet.
The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity will now feature the 1.9GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and a 10.1-inch display with 2560 x 1600 IPS display.
Asus Transformer Pad Infinity (2013) Features
Giving its docking Android tablet a bit of an update for 2013, Asus has brought on board the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor that clocks in at 1.9GHz with 32GB of internal storage. The powerful processor has four ARM Cortex-A15 CPU chips, with a 72-core GeForce GPU.
The new 10.1-inch display now offers 2560 x 1600p resolutions, upgraded from the 1900 x 1200p of the original Super IPS display of the tablet hybrid. It is also capable of 178-degree viewing angles and 10-point multitouch.
Aside from internal upgrades, the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity has also received a keyboard dock upgrade. It now has a multitouch trackpad and inbuilt USB 3.0 and SDXC memory card slots.
The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity is now also capable of outputting up to 4K Ultra HD resolutions from its HDMI port, and will feature a bigger battery for longer standby times.
A full list of specs hasn’t yet been revealed, but if it builds on the first generation Asus Transformer Pad Infinity, it should be an impressive device. To put it into perspective, the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity tablet released last year received a nine out of ten in our review, and we found it very hard to fault.
