iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus UK pricing revealed

Apple has announced the full iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus UK pricing ahead of their release date on September 19.

You'll be able to pre-order the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from Friday September 12, but you'll need to know how much the duo could set you back SIM-free.

Strangely, Apple has done away with the 32GB model for both iPhone 6 models, offering only a 16GB, 64GB and 128GB option for the pair.

For the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, prices start at £539 for the 16GB model. From there, the 64GB model is £619 and the 128GB is £699.

The larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus starts at £619 for the 16GB option. The 64GB will set you back £699, while the 128GB model is a slightly eye-watering £789 SIM-free.

“iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are the biggest advancements in iPhone history,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “The iPhone is the most loved smartphone in the world with the highest customer satisfaction in the industry and we are making it much better in every way. Only Apple can combine the best hardware, software and services at this unprecedented level and we think customers are going to love it.”

If you're looking to add an official Apple case to either the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you'll need to fork out an additional £25 at least.

The iPhone 6 Silicone Case is £25, while the larger iPhone 6 Plus Silicone Case is £29. Both of these Silicone Cases come in colour options of Black, White, Pink, Blue, Green and (PRODUCT)RED.

There's also a dearer Leather Case option for both. The iPhone 6 Leather Case is £35 and the iPhone 6 Plus Leather Case is £39. There are five colour options for the Leather Case - Black, PRODUCT(RED), Midnight Blue, Olive Brown and Soft Pink.

The iPhone 6 duo go up for pre-order on the Apple website on September 12, ahead of the release date
