If you can’t wait until tomorrow’s unveiling to see Huawei’s next flagship smartphone, a new leak may sate your handset hunger.
The Huawei Ascend P8 appears to have been leaked on a Chinese billboard poster, as revealed by Nowhereelse.
The post reveals that the handset will ship in four colour variants, namely black, white, silver, and gold.
Unfortunately the poster reveals little else in the way of new information, but we don’t have long to wait until Huawei’s official launch event, scheduled for April 15.
The report also showed off a US Federal Communications Commission leak revealing a snapshot of the spin-off Ascend P8 Lite.
So what do we know about Huawei’s two new handsets? Well the Ascend P8 is expected to carry a 5.2-inch Full HD display for starters.
It’s also tipped to pack an octa-core Huawei-built Kirin 935 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, with 3GB of RAM to boot.
A 13-megapixel image sensor will handle rear-facing photography, while an 8-megapixel camera will sort your selfies out.
We’re also expecting 32GB of built-in storage – plus a microSD slot for expansion – as well as a 3,000mAh lithium-ion battery.

The P8 Lite – which was also leaked in images two weeks ago – is also expected to carry a 5.2-inch display, albeit with a 720p resolution.
Inside will be a quad-core Kirin 930 chip clocked at 1.8GHz, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
It’s also tipped that we’ll see a 13-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
Huawei is expected to unveil both handsets at a launch event in London tomorrow.
