Four Huawei P8 colours will be available on day one, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed.
Having debuted its latest flagship offering and Samsung Galaxy S6 challenger at a London-based launch event, Huawei has revealed the P8 will be offered up in a selection of iPhone 6 mimicking tones.
A sleek, 6.4mm thick handset with a metal unibody design, the P8 will be available in white, silver, black and gold colours schemes when it hits retailers in the coming weeks.
This being a flagship smartphone, however, the handset’s colours are not so simply titled.
Instead, expect to see Mystic Champaign, Prestige Gold, Titanium Grey and Carbon Black P8 offerings hit retailers’ shelves.
If these colour options look familiar, we’re not surprised. It appears Huawei has based its P8 hues on those bestowed on Apple’s most recent mobile devices.

The Huawei P8 is a direct follow-on to the 2014 released Huawei Ascend P7. It has moved to a 5.2-inch ‘frameless’ screen, with a new, 64-bit Kirin 930 processor running the show.
One of the major improvements on the P8 is the handset’s move to an improved, OIS-enhanced 13-megapixel primary camera.
This rear-mounted shooter features a 4-colour RGBW sensor and benefits from a number of new, software enhanced shooting modes, including Time Lapse and Light Painting.
A precise UK Huawei P8 release date and price has yet to be confirmed.
