Samsung has announced that there will be a Gear VR headset that will work with the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones.
The Korean company launched its first Oculus-powered virtual reality headset last year, but sadly it was only compatible with the brilliant Galaxy Note 4.
Now Samsung is widening the virtual reality realms by building a Gear VR Innovator Edition for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

That means a smaller headset than the Note 4-friendly Gear VR to house the 5.1-inch screen-toting handsets.
Like the Note 4, the S6 and the S6 Edge both include '2K' QHD resolution displays albeit on a smaller scale so should in theory lead to a less pixellated display, although we'll reserve judgement until we get some time with it.
Samsung hopes the extra power in the S6 and the S6 Edge will deliver a more fluid virtual reality experience and has also added a USB port so you can charge the phone while it's in use.
As the headset is still tagged as an 'Innovator Edition', you'll still be able to the same content available through the Oculus store, which means a lot of demo content and access to Samsung's US-only Milk VR store.
There's no word on pricing or a release date, but we are hoping it'll be the same price range as the first Gear VR Innovator edition.
