Microsoft is allowing Xbox One preview members to get an early taste of the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta from Friday.
The gaming giant is sending out Xbox Live invites to members tomorrow, enabling them download the beta for the eagerly-awaited new instalment.
Those lucky enough to glean early access will be playing the game a full 10 days before a multiplayer beta goes public on December 29.
The Verge reports the beta period will open from 9pm UK time on Friday and will remain available until 8am on December 22.
Halo 5: Guardians will be an Xbox One exclusive when it lands in 2015 and comes from 343 Industries, the studio responsible for Halo 4. The title, announced at E3 2014 will take “full advantage” of the Xbox One’s specs and run at 60fps.
