Samsung's next phablet could have a new wrist-based companion
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will launch later this year and come bundled with a new Samsung Gear 3 smartwatch, latest reports have suggested.

According to unnamed ‘industry sources’ speaking with the Korean Herald, Samsung is planning to announce its next phablet and smartwatch partnership during IFA 2014 this September. The new Gear 3 will reportedly be unveiled despite the latest Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo offerings having only hit retailers in April.
“Samsung is working on the next generation of the Samsung Gear 2, and it will be sold in a bundle package with the upcoming Galaxy Note 4,” the claiming insiders reported.
Nam Dae-jong, an analyst from Hana Daetoo Securities added: “Samsung is trying to shorten the release cycle since other rivals, including Apple and LG Electronics, are expected to roll out their own smartwatches.”
Although Samsung Gear 3 specs are still unclear, the wrist-based gadget looks set to follow a SIM enabled Samsung Gear Solo watchphone launch this summer.
Latest Samsung Galaxy Note 4 leaks have claimed that the oversized handset will land with a 5.9-inch 2560 x 1440p QHD display similar to that found on the LG G3.
Further Note 4 specs tipped for to feature include Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 20-megapixel rear-mounted camera.
An early autumn unveiling would like see the Note 4 land within days of the widely expected September iPhone 6 release date.
