Pure’s Jongo multiroom speakers are adding a new partypiece, with new Caskeid features making the system play nice with any music streaming service.
Currently compatible only with the company’s own Pure Connect app, the Jongo speaker system is adding widespread streaming support thanks to Bluetooth Caskeid, an enhancement on the speakers’ synchronisation technology system.
“Jongo was designed with flexibility in mind,” Nick Hucker, Pure’s Marketing Director said.
He added: “Now we’ve taken this concept a huge step further with Bluetooth Caskeid, which brings the worlds’ most accurate and advanced audio synchronisation technology together with the most comprehensive audio content, to a much wider audience, giving them the choice to listen to whatever they want, in great quality throughout the home.”
Developed by Pure’s parent company, Imagination Technologies, Caskeid is said to deliver accurate synchronised wireless multiroom connected audio streaming.
With more than 500 different music streaming services available globally, Pure Jongo speakers will now be compatible with all, including popular offerings such as Spotify, Pandora and Deezer.
Letting your Jongo speakers sync seamlessly with the app of your streaming service of choice, Caskeid utilises a combination of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to deliver to the desired content to all speakers with the group.
Pure’s Bluetooth Caskeid is available for iOS and Android utilising Jongo owners now.
