Apple could have just leaked the iPhone 6 during its WWDC 2014 preparations.
A video published by French site Nowhereelse.fr, supposedly filmed during Apple’s preparations for tonight’s WWDC 2014 keynote, seems to show the iPhone 6 ahead of its official launch.
As you can see from the video below, the presentation shows off a phone that looks surprisingly similar to the iPhone 6 leaks we’ve seen to date.
At first glance it does look a bit like an old iPhone 3GS model with its silver trim, but as the video develops the alleged iPhone 6 turns over and reveals a design that hasn’t yet been featured on any iPhone devices.
It looks like the iPhone 6’s edges are more curved than its predecessors, especially when compared to the iPhone 5S, and even looks like it feature slightly sloped edges at the top and bottom.
However, the low quality and unsteadiness of the video footage makes it difficult to make out anything for definite.
We expect the video is actually a fake, as Apple doesn’t normally announce new iPhone models at its annual WWDC conference, instead launching them at special events separate to its developers’ conference.
Instead Apple is due to focus on new software at tonight’s WWDC conference, notably the new iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 Yosemite operating systems for iPhones, iPads and Macs.
There have been a few rumours Apple might unveil a new Apple TV set top box this evening, but the keynote is more likely to be entirely software-centric.
Take a look at the video for yourself and see what you make of it.
Honestly, we’re not sure how credible it is, especially as Apple usually has much more fluid and animated graphics than the ones we’re seeing here.
