American Football is heading back to your consoles as the Madden 15 release date is confirmed for August 26.
Discussed as part of publisher EA’s E3 2014 press conference, the Madden 15 release date has been revealed alongside the game’s improved focus on defensive capabilities.
“Gamers have been telling us for years that they want defence to be more fun,” EA said in detailing the new Madden offering.
They added: “In Madden 15 we are transforming the game from a defensive point.”
Hopefully spelling the end to mindless button mashing and mass confusion during Madden defence, the latest addition to the American Football sim will see ‘tiered tackling’ method introduced.
With conservative and aggressive tackles landing based on user and character skill levels, there is also the option for more showpiece diving tackles.
“You are going to have more control on defence than ever before,” EA said of the title.
As well as improve defence options, Madden 15 looks set to be visually superior to past offerings.
With 100s of new player emotions and reactions set to be introduced, American Football coverage producers have also be consulted on bringing dozens of new camera angles and reply shots into the game.
One of a number of new gamers detailed during the EA keynote, Madden 15 will share the EA Sports limelight this year with the likes of FIFA 15, NHL 15 and a new golf offering – EA Sports PGA Tour.
