Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 tablet
PC World has dropped the price of the Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 to £129.99 just in time for Christmas.
Entering the market to compete with the likes of the Tesco Hudl and Argos MyTablet, the Advent Tegra Note 7 is PC World and Curry’s own budget tablet.
Now, just in time for last minute Christmas purchases, the Advent Tegra Note 7 costs £129.99, down from its original RRP of £179.99.
The Advent tablet is just a branded version of the Nvidia Tegra Note tablet and so boasts the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor.
Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 Specs
The Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 features a 7-inch 1280 x 800p HD resolution IPS screen with a 215ppi image density.
Offering a 10-hour battery life, the Tegra Note 7 runs on a quad-core Cortex A15 processor and 72-core GeForce GPU within the Tegra 4 chipset.
Nvidia claims the Tegra Note is the fastest Android tablet out there and we certainly found it great for playing mobile games in our review, matching the likes of the Google Nexus 7 2 rather than the Argos and Tesco alternatives.
The Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing option for video calls. It comes inbuilt with Nvidia Direct Stylus software and Nvidia PureAudio sounds technology powering its front-facing stereo speakers.
It is charged via microUSB and offer microHDMI out, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity.
