HTC One M8 Eye pictures leak ahead of upcoming launch

Images of the HTC One M8 Eye have leaked ahead of the snap-happy phone’s expected official unveiling next week.

With HTC having confirmed it will hold a launch event for new products next Wednesday, October 8, promotional materials for the currently unconfirmed M8 Eye have made a premature appearance.

As well as offering an insight into the phone’s internals, the leaked document has confirmed the phone’s name and strikingly familiar design. With a rounded, brushed metal design and front-facing stereo speakers, the M8 Eye looks markedly similar to its flagship sibling, the HTC One M8.

Beneath the hood, the M8’s 4-UltraPixel rear-mounted camera is expected to be replaced by a more traditional 13-megapixel snapper.

However, like its predecessor, the Eye will seemingly benefit from a dual-lens Duo snapper to assist focussing and low-light shooting.

Further differences include the reported move to a slightly larger, 5.2-inch display.

An improved selfie snapper is also expected to feature alongside BoomSound speakers and a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

With just days until HTC’s big unveiling, stay tuned to TrustedReviews for all the latest on what’s next from the Taiwanese manufacturer.
