The heavily rumoured 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy Note tablet has made yet another appearance, with the oversized device hitting the FCC.
With a range of Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 specs having already leaked, the newly spotted FCC Bluetooth filing has suggested that a 3G compatible version of the tablet will be made available alongside the standard Wi-Fi only model.
With a test model of the 12.2-inch tablet shown to have arrived from Korea for FCC testing earlier this month, leaked images have shown that the upcoming device will support the 850/1900MHz frequencies. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 having yet to be confirmed, the device is listed under its official product name, the Samsung SM-P901.
According to recent Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 rumours, the tablet is being prepared for a Q1 2014 unveiling, with either a CES or MWC arrival looking likely.
With the benchmarks for the unannounced tablet having done the rounds earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 specs sheet has been tipped to feature a stunning 2560 x 1600 pixel display alongside Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
Powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 features list will be rounded off by 3GB of RAM, and 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera, a secondary 2-megapixel snapper up front and 32GB of internal storage.
Increasing the company’s already sizeable tablet offering, the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 will line up alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and 2014 Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as direct Apple iPad Air rivals.
