Ahead of the phone’s imminent unveiling, a selection of Huawei P8 images have emerged alongside the phone’s official specs sheet.
With the Chinese manufacturer having confirmed its next flagship phone will overlook an MWC 2015 unveiling in order to avoid the throng of impending competition, the Huawei P8 has been snapped in the wild sporting a protective development case (via PhoneArena).
Although hiding much of the handset’s expected metal framing, the development case has offered a few glimpses of the P8.
What’s more, screenshots taken on the device have seemingly confirmed the features list for the upcoming Huawei Ascend P7 follow-on (below).
According to the latest leaks, the handset – which is expected to adopt a premium, iPhone 6 inspired metal and glass design – will adopt a 5.2-inch, 1920 x 1080p Full HD display.
Although current trends have seen QHD panels become a high-end expectation, Huawei has previously spoken out on how it favours impressive battery life over the visual benefits of a 2K screen.
Further Huawei P8 specs teased by the leak include the addition of a13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie snapper.
With Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop OS expected to run the show, the P8 will add a 2.0GHz octa-core Kirin 930 processor alongside 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Although Huawei has confirmed the P8 won’t make an official bow at MWC, you shouldn’t have to wait too much longer for the flagship phone.
The manufacturer recently confirmed to TrustedReviews that the P8 will be formally unveiled in London on April 15.
