Google has announced the Samsung Gear Live as the third Android Wear smartwatch, joining the previously announced LG G Watch and Motorola Moto 360.
The Samsung Gear Live, which looks strikingly like the Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear Neo, will run the special wearable version of Android, called Android Wear.
Sadly, Google wouldn't give any details on specs for the Gear Live, only that it would be water-resistant and could potentially feature a heart rate monitor, as it was one of the features mentioned during the Google I/O 2014 keynote.
Google could say that the Samsung Gear Live would be available to order today, June 25, on the Google Play Store, but failed to offer pricing information.
However, the Gear Live was leaked earlier today with a set of specs that we expect will be very close, if not exactly, to the official specs sheet.
Rumour has it that the Gear Live will feature the same 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display with 320 x 320p resolution as the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo.
According to the report though, it should offer a slightly speedier 1.2GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, and run on a 300mAh battery.
Although 4GB of internal memory is tipped, Google explained that any app you have installed on your Android phone will automatically make the wearable portion available on your Android Wear device, meaning you may not need that internal storage.
We'll update this piece with all the official information as it comes in later today.
