Batman: Arkham Knight will now touch down on February 24
With the Batman: Arkham Knight release date having recently been pushed back to an undisclosed point in 2015, latest reports have suggested the eagerly awaited game will now touch down on February 24.
Originally set to have been heading for release later this year, publisher Warner Bros Interactive recently announced the game would now not land until 2015 in order to ensure the game reaches its full potential.
Now, however, a February 24 Batman: Arkham Knight release date has been teased by Microsoft, with the game listed for pre-order through the official Microsoft Store alongside a February 24 arrival.
Although Warner Bros have yet to make an official announcement on when exactly the rescheduled Batman: Arkham Knight release date will be held, we can’t see a company of Microsoft’s magnitude simply pulling a date from thin air so this should offer a good indication.
The Tuesday release would also be fitting with such a high-profile title.
As well as teasing the game’s launch date, Microsoft is offering added incentive to snap up the latest addition to the Batman Arkham series early.
Those who pre-order Batman: Arkham Knight through the Microsoft Store will see their copy of the game bundle with a $10 Xbox gift card.
Batman: Arkham Knight is set to launch for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Confirming the delay recently, Dax Ginn of developer Rocksteady suggested the game has been pushed back “to ensure that we are delivering the awesome level of quality that Batman fans and gamers expect from this.”
He added: “Awesome takes time.”
