Tinder Plus brings ‘undo’ button as part of paid upgrade

Tinder is due to release a paid version of its app dubbed Tinder Plus, bringing with it a host of fancy features to make your quest for app-sired love that little bit easier.

The sexed-up social tool designed to match willing lovebirds will charge somewhere between 60p and £12.50 a month for the bonus services, test results pending.

One of the more interesting additional features will be an undo button, meaning your dismissive left swipe can be reverted to give romance a round two.

Sean Rad, Tinder’s co-founder, said: “The most requested feature we get is a button to go back and have a second chance with people that users swipe left on.”

Everyone has wanted it from the beginning. It’s absolutely at the top of the list.

It’s largely a result of people accidentally binning off a potential partner and regretting their hasty responses.

The Tinder team has plans to lump a giant yellow Undo button on the home screen to pull in as many upgrades as possible.

There’s also going to be a ‘Passport’ option that will extend your view range outside of the existing 100-mile zone.

“We often hear that people want to be able to start swiping in a location before they’ve left to go on a trip or holiday, and that once they’ve actually made a meaningful connection with someone in a new location, their trip has come to an end,” explained Rad.

“We also hear people saying that they want to get recommendations for places to go and where to eat in a new city, and Tinder Plus can do better at that.”

Tinder launched back in 2012, and has since become a bona fide digital hot-spot for speed-wooing would-be lovers.
