Xbox One Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bundle

Microsoft’s nifty Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare console bundle is now available to own.

The bundle, which was made available to pre-order back in August, includes a special Advanced Warfare-themed 1TB console, and wireless controller as well as a wired headset and a digital copy of the game, completed with a limited edition in-game exoskeleton.

The limited edition bundle, which does not come with the Kinect sensor, is available for £429 in the UK, 499 Euros or $449 US dollars, which includes a $50 discount.

The latest entry for the storied franchise, which stars House of Cards star Kevin Spacey as a lead character, officially went on sale today for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PS4 and PS3.

UK retailer GAME had offered keen gamers the opportunity to get the Day Zero Edition on Sunday night, giving those who called into one of the 316 stores a 24 hour head start on the rest of the field.

The game itself takes place 40 years from now, in the year 2054, and as such promises a leap forward for the franchise in terms of combat technology and tactics.

“Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare boasts true next generation visuals and jolts players forward in a ground breaking experience that’s ripped-from-the-headline-of-tomorrow, envisioning a future where both technology and tactics have evolved to create a new era of combat for the franchise,” the company wrote on the Xbox Wire blog on Tuesday.

“Based on plausible tech and extensive research, the narrative begins in the year 2054. The Atlas Corporation, a private military corporation (PMC), has emerged with the power to rescue humanity after a global attack on its military and infrastructure. Empowering players with an advanced arsenal with new weaponry, vehicles and high-tech gear, players can join the ranks of a highly-trained, specialized unit committed to restoring order.
