Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date listed as October 13 by retailer

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date has been set for the week commencing October 13, online retailer Clove has suggested.

Although Samsung is yet to announce a definitive Galaxy Note 4 release date, the Clove listing appears to have narrowed down the broad ‘October’ release window previously handed to the device.

According to a product listing on the retailer’s site, “first stock is expected the week commencing 13th October.

Letting wannabe owners pre-order the fourth-generation phablet ahead of launch, the retailer has also revealed the Galaxy Note 4 price will be £575 on a SIM-free basis. The seller has warned that although the release date is still subject to change, “if an order is placed, payment will be taken immediately.”

An October 13 release will see the Galaxy Note 4 touch down almost a month after Apple’s first phablet, the iPhone 6 Plus hits retailers.

The Galaxy Note 4 was formally unveiled during IFA 2014 earlier this month.

The 5.7-inch smartphone features a stunning 2560 x 1440 pixel QHD display alongside a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM.

With improved S-Pen stylus responsiveness and functionality, the Note 4 specs sheet is further enhanced by a 16-megapixel, optical-image-stabilised camera and a new, metal-edged design.

There will be four Samsung Galaxy Note 4 colours available at launch, with the standard black and white options being joined by ‘blossom pink’ and gold offerings.
