The Last of Us Remastered PS4 bundle

The Last of Us Remastered PS4 bundle will reportedly launch on July 30

A The Last of Us Remastered PS4 hardware bundle will be released to celebrate the game’s next-gen arrival, a premature retail posting has revealed.

Having been a major hit as a PS3 exclusive last year, The Last of Us is to be remastered for the PS4, with the game to hit Sony’s Xbox One rival on July 29.

Although the game has been confirmed, Sony has yet to officially announce the The Last of Us Remastered PS4 hardware bundle which has just popped up on the sales pages of online seller Amazon France.

Listed alongside a €429.99 (£344.74) price tag, the PS4 bundle will reportedly see the standard 500GB black PS4 console boxed alongside a controller and a copy of The Last of Us Remastered.

However, according to the retail listing, the unconfirmed PS4 bundle will launch one day after the standalone game, with a July 30 release date shown.

Pairing a remastered version of the original game with all of The Last of Us DLC packs which have since landed, The Last of Us Remastered will target a new, visually impressive, 1080p resolution at 60fps.

“The graphical fidelity has been turned up to 11,” Evan Wells, Studio co-President of The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog said in announcing the PS4-bound version earlier this year.

He added: “We’ve got 1080p, we’re pushing the draw distances further, we’re creating higher resolution character models, better lighting, better shadows.”
