Apple's stock woes continue with the Cupertino-based company confirming that delivery dates for the recently launched Mac Pro have been pushed back to April.
With the high-end desktop having originally launched in the UK last month, {pllquote}Mac Pro stock shortages have plagued the computer’s early sales{/pullquote}.
With the cylindrical powerhouse having slide form a January to February delivery Windows within hours of first going on sale, Mac Pro delivery dates were further extended into March late last month, with the new orders of the business-orientated computer now not expected to ship until April.
As with its previous shipping delays, Apple has failed to offer a reason for the latest Mac Pro stock shortages, with the device now listed online with a slightly vague launch window covering any point in April.
A device which looks set to revolutionise the computer market, the Mac Pro has been built from scratch, with a compact, aluminium hewn body playing host to all manner of high-end specs.
With the base machine setting wannabe owners back £2,499, the Apple Mac Pro plays host to a bevy of premium innards, with the base model featuring a 3.7GHz quad-core Intel Xeon E5 processor a dual AMD FirePro D300 GPUs. The device lines up at just 9.9-inches tall.
The Mac Pro is the latest Apple device to be hit by stock shortages. Over the past 12 months the iPhone 5S and iPad mini 2 have both been troubled by continuing stock limitations.
