HTC One 2 leaks again with dual-sensor camera

The HTC One 2 has been caught on camera once more, with the upcoming flagship phone again shown running a dual-sensor camera.

With the HTC One 2 having been the subject of multiple leaks and rumours in recent weeks, the latest leaked snaps have backed up recent reports that the phone will run a dual-sensor primary snapper but lose the physical soft-touch Android buttons in favour of on-screen controls.

Shown with a sleek, brushed metal design similar to the original HTC One, the HTC One 2 has been photographed with a small second sensor sat directly above the main Ultrapixel camera. A dual LED flash is also present to further improve photographic results.

It has been suggested that the secondary sensor will allow the HTC One 2’s main camera to improve metering and focus times or offer images with a wider field of view.

Around front, the HTC One 2 has again been teased to lose its physical back, home and menu Android controls with the controls to instead feature digital buttons.

Recent HTC One 2 specs have suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 rival will be unveiled post MWC with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor to line up alongside a new, larger 5-inch 1080p Full HD display and Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
