HTC has teased the official reveal of the HTC One Mini for later on today.
The company yesterday tweeted the above picture on its UK Twitter account, along with the phrase "We have a 'little' bit of news tomorrow."
This strongly suggests that the company will be unveiling the HTC One Mini today, July 18.
It follows a string of image and spec leaks for the device. Just yesterday we received a tip that the HTC One Mini would hit shops on August 9, which would make an imminent official announcement necessary.
As the name suggests, the HTC One Mini appears to be a shrunken version of the HTC One, with the same all-in-one brushed aluminium body.
Despite its premium appearance, the One Mini will apparently feature mid-range specifications. Its screen has apparently dropped to a more compact 4.3-inch unit, but it won't retain the HTC One's level of sharpness thanks to a 1280 x 720p resolution.
Similarly, out goes the HTC One's quad-core CPU backed by 2GB of RAM and in comes a 1.4GHz dual-core processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM.
It will, however, have the same innovative 4-Ultrapixel camera and BoomSound speakers as its big brother, so it'll take fine low-light photos and will sound fantastic even without headphones.
If these spec rumours are to be believed, the HTC One Mini will ship with the very latest version of the Android OS, 4.2.2.
We shouldn't have long to wait to find out if these rumoured specs are true.
