A selection of claimed Sony Xperia Z4 images have leaked online, again pointing to a handset with a markedly similar design to its predecessors.
Having been the subject of multiple leaks and rumours in recent weeks, the much-mooted Xperia Z4 has been caught on camera once again, this time with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor in tow.
A feature long tipped to appear on the Z4, the 64-bit CPU has been spotted though an on-screen system report on claimed Z4 images surfaced via Greek outlet In2Mobile (below).
As well as the much-maligned Qualcomm MSM8994 processor – codename for the Snapdragon 810 – the images have shown the handset’s model number to be the Sony E6553.
Although currently unconfirmed, this model number has previously leaked in association with the Xperia Z4.
Further details teased by the latest leaks include the placement of the phone’s rear-mounted, 20.7-megapixel camera, UI layout and familiar design.
Already powering handsets such as the LG G Flex 2 and the HTC One M9, the Snapdragon 810 SoC has been the subject of multiple overheating complaints since launch earlier this year.

Despite offering another early look of the Xperia Z4, the latest leaks have offered little further insight into the phone’s abilities.
Past reports have suggested the handset’s camera and CPU improvements will be paired with a new 5.1-inch display and 3GB of RAM.
It is still unclear when the Z4 will enter the realms of reality. Earlier this year the Japanese manufacturer told TrustedReviews its next flagship phone would touch down before September.
