We've seen plenty of electric skateboards in our time. But this is the smallest and lightest yet.
It's called Bolt, and it weighs just 4kg and is a smidgen under two feet long. That means it's small enough to sling in a bag, and light enough to carry around without doing your back in.
The top speed is 13mph. Sure, we've seen electric bicycles that go faster, but that should be quick enough for most. We would advise wearing a helmet, too.
With a range of 6.5 miles, it should last most commutes. If yours is longer, you can always use it to nip to the bus stop or train station, hop aboard, and then use it at the other end too.
Being so small, it will be easy to store at home.
It juices up in about an hour, so you can charge it during your lunch break. It has a USB port too, so you can use its internal battery to power up your phone on the go. Very handy.

The makers claim the 5,000mAh battery will charge an iPhone 20 times, though we'd have to test it for ourselves to verify that. A smartphone app will tell you how much battery power is left, and it could also be extended to wearables, though that would rely on it hitting its stretch goals.
It's raised over $11,000 of a $50,000 funding goal with 22 days to go. Pledge $549 (£375) and it could be yours.
