There's been a glut of smart luggage recently, but the Delsey Pluggage offers something the others don't – it tells you what the weather is like at your destination.
At least that's the plan. Weather forecasting is just one of the skills Delsey has suggested for the Pluggage, but it wants your help in deciding which to implement. And this is after two years of working on a prototype.
Other options include the ability to weigh itself, so using the app, you can see if you're over the airline's weight limit and will have to pay a fine. Instant battery reload lets you charge your phone, while onboard detection lets you know your case is safely on the plane. An inside lighting system would mean it lights up when opened, like a fridge, and flight info would give you updates on your plane's status via the app.
Fingerprint ID would mean only you could open the case, and a check lock would tell you if anyone else has opened it. You could also have a speaker inside, and could create a check list of things to do during your trip.

We've seen some of these features before, but if Delsey could incorporate them all, it would really have something cool on its hands. It also has considerable brand cache, which is missing from smart luggage like Bluesmart and Trunkster.
You can request which features you'd like on the Pluggage website.
