Apple has released a new test version of it’s iOS 8 operating system as it prepares for the forthcoming release of the Apple Watch.

The Cupertino company has released an iOS 8.2 beta, which details how iPhone and iPad users will connect to and control the smartwatch.

Within the beta version (via 9to5Mac), there’s a new Bluetooth settings menu that allows users to connect to the Apple Watch.

Specifically, it reads: “To pair an Apple Watch with your iPhone, go to the Apple Watch app.”

From that it seems to confirm the next release of iOS 8 will feature a built in Apple Watch app that enables users to control the device. Users will be able to use it to manage and install apps as well as adjust the watch’s setting.

Reports last week suggested the iWatch could go on sale the United States before the end of March.Last week we brought word Apple is planning on training its retail staff next month in order to prepare them for the launch.
