Benchmarks for the highly-rumoured Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini handset have leaked online, revealing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini AnTuTu benchmark results suggest the 4.3-inch Samsung Galaxy S4 downgrade will still pack a fairly impressive collection of specs for a mid-range device.

The benchmarks, courtesy of an unnamed source speaking to German website All About Samsung, suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, the same seen in the HTC First.

Also potentially packing 1.5GB of RAM, with a 540 x 960p qHD resolution display, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini should run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

With an 8-megpaixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixels up front, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini could launch alongside the 6-inch Samsung Galaxy S4 Mega handset in the future.

Earlier this week, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini appeared on an official Samsung website on the Content & Services page in the UK. Appearing with the same GT-I9195 model number as seen on the above AnTuTu benchmarks, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini thumbnail seemingly confirmed the leaked pictures that appeared online earlier this month.

Although Samsung has yet to confirm the existence of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, it could launch at the Samsung press event in London on June 20, which it is using to unveil new Samsung Galaxy and Ativ products.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, like the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini launched last year, is meant to offer a mid-range alternative to the powerhouse flagship device, including screen size, specs and price tag reductions.

A Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini release date was reportedly set for mid-July, with colour options said to be the same White Frost and Black Mist offered for the Samsung Galaxy S4.

The pint-sized handset isn’t the only Samsung Galaxy S4 variation said to be launching this year. Along with the super sized Galaxy S4 Mega, there is also the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom with 16-megapixel rear camera and 10x optical zoom and the waterproof, dustproof Samsung Galaxy S4 Active.
