Carphone Warehouse is now offering the LG Optimus L5 from £69.95, the lowest price in the UK for the handset.
The LG Optimus L5 is now available for £69.96 for PAYG upgrade customers online and in-store, with the phone offered in black and white.
Now replaced by the LG Optimus L5 2, the LG Optimus L5 was released in June last year with a 4-inch touchscreen display.
Otherwise, the LG Optimus L5 can be bought on a pay monthly contract from £7 per month with a free handset from the retailer, or on a brand new PAYG contract for £79.95.
Originally the handset would cost £139.95 SIM free, but now has been reduced to £134.95 by Carphone Warehouse.
LG Optimus L5 Features
The LG Optimus L5 features a 4-inch touchscreen with 320 x 480p resolutions and a 144ppi image density.
Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the OS is a little dated, but users can update it to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean if they so wish. It has an 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by microSD cards up to 32GB.
In the rear the LG Optimus L5 has a 5-megapixel camera with a VGA camera in the front for video calling.
Playing host to Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, the LG Optimus L5 also comes inbuilt with NFC technology.
Coming in white and black, the entry-level handset is 9.5mm thick with 118.3 x 66.5mm dimensions and weighs 123g. A lot lighter than the LG Optimus G Pro handset, the LG Optimus L5 is a good entry-level phones that features metallic accents and a soft plastic finish.
