UK radio specialist Pure has unveiled its latest internet offering, with the Pure Evoke F4 playing friendly with the company’s Jongo line.
A Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hosting internet radio, the Pure Evoke F4 can be used as a standalone device or be synced with Pure’s Jongo multi-room music system for seamless home audio capabilities throughout.
Available from today, the Pure Evoke F4 offers internet, digital and FM radio access, with the modern audio provider adding a range of cutting edge features.
Pure Evoke F4 Features
Featuring a real wood casing, the Pure Evoke F4 utilises energy efficient Class-D audio amplification and has been based around the popular Pure Evoke Flow, a device we bestowed with a 10/10 review.
Helping consumers build up a multiroom system piece by piece, the Pure Evoke F4 is compatible with all current Jongo speakers and supports access to the Pure Music subscription service, a Spotify rival that features a 15 million track back catalogue.
With a telescopic aerial able to be hidden discretely away, the Pure Evoke F4 lines up at just 1.5kg in weight and a little over 20cm in length.
Allowing users to recent live internet and digital radio direct to a USB flash drive for later listening, the F4 boasts access to some 20,000 internet radio stations and 200,000 on-demand programmes and podcasts, including the BBC services found on iPlayer.
With an OLED display providing detail on current channels and programmes, a designated ‘tag’ button allows users to find out artist and track names. With a headphone line out and an iPod come MP3 line in, the Pure Evoke F4 covers off all desired tick boxes.

Hitting retailers today, May 29, the Pure Evoke F4 price tag is a princely one, with the high tech radio setting wannabe owners back a penny shy of £170.
