Prices leak for Google’s Nexus 6 and Nexus 9

With the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 launches potentially hours or even minutes away, prices have started leaking for various global markets.

European prices are coming courtesy of a screenshot of German tech retailer Saturn’s inventory spreadsheets.

The Nexus 6 will price up at 569 euros (£453) for the 32GB version, while the 64GB model is expected to retail at 649 euros (£517).

The tablet Nexus 9 16GB Wi-Fi edition will cost 399 euros (£318) according to the leak, while the 32GB Wi-Fi version appears to tout a 489 euro (£391) R.R.P. There’s also going to be an LTE 32GB coming in at 569 euros (£453).

American network provider AT&T also half-leaked US pricing for the Nexus 6, with the company selling the device at $49.99 (£31) should you pick it up on contract.

Whispers on the web suggest HTC is behind Google’s Nexus 9 tablet, while Motorola is tipped to be the designer of the Nexus 6 smartphone.

The Google-stamped device duo should be replacing the Nexus 7 tablet and the Nexus 5 smartphone respectively.

Today’s announcement is also expected to show off Android L, Google’s next big Android OS update.

The software will sport Google’s simpler, flatter ‘material design’ aesthetic, and should ship with the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 on launch.
