The Order: 1886 gameplay trailer and screenshots leaked

Screenshots and a gameplay trailer for upcoming PS4 exclusive, The Order: 1886 have leaked online.

So far the only official footage of the game we’ve seen publicly is an engine-created CG trailer released when announcing the game.

However, now new screenshots and the first gameplay trailer of The Order: 1886 have emerged online following a private showing of the game by Sony.

The gameplay trailer reveals that Ready at Dawn have managed to seamlessly blend cutscenes and actual gameplay, due to the game’s next-gen visuals.

The footage below is mainly a live gameplay stream that looks undeniably beautiful and could be a interesting and engaging title for the PS4 when it launches later this year.

VGLeaks has also published some screengrabs from the gameplay footage that will give you a clearer look at some of the visual details you’ll be able to expect from The Order: 1886.

Earlier this month, Andrea Pessino, the co-founder of Ready at Dawn, confirmed The Order: 1886 would be single-player only.

A curios gamer asked whether the game would feature a “competitive multiplayer mode”, but Pessino replied:

“No multiplayer, it is a single player, third person action adventure game.”

The game was originally announced in June 2013 at E3 as a brand new IP for the PS4. It is set in an alternate history mixing Victorian London with comparatively modern technologies and some mythical creatures.

The Order: 1886 comes from the developer responsible for titles like God of War: Age of Olympus, so it should be quite the game.
