Nintendo is dropping the Mario Kart 8 DLC in April with a brand new 200cc mode.
Previously scheduled to launch in May, Nintendo has confirmed the Mario Kart 8 DLC will land in April - but no specific date was given.
Nintendo gave us a first look at the Animal Crossing themed Mario Kart 8 DLC pack during today's Nintendo Direct presentation.
The brand new track features sections that change every time you race, meaning you'll always be kept on your toes.
The DLC also includes two brand new vehicles - the City Tripper is a brand new bike, while the Streetle is a little car shaped like a beetle.
As previously announced, you also get playable version of the male and female Animal Crossing villager, Isabelle and Dry Bowser. There will also be eight new courses available in the Crossing and Bell cups.
Nintendo will also introduce nine brand new racing suits to Mario Kart 8, via the use of amiibo characters.
These nine costumes will be unlocked in the game as soon as you place the relevant amiibo: Mega Man, Pac Man, Sonic, Toad, Wario, Villager, Rosalina, Bowser, and Olimar.

Nintendo also announced Mario Kart 8 is getting a 200cc mode. That's 50cc faster than the current max, which Nintendo stresses will make you need to use your brakes - a lot.
Every course in the whole game is compatible with the new 200cc mode.
