Samsung is working on a new device that would boast a 4K display and Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 810 chip, at least according to new reports.
A user agent profile spotted by PhoneArena seems to reveal a mystery Samsung handset that touts these impressive specs.
The device is being hidden under enigmatic ‘SM-Z6400’ naming, an internal codename assured to be jazzed up for final release.
The screen makes use of a 2150 x 3840 resolution, although the profile doesn’t give any clues as to the actual display measurements.
The fact that a 4K display is on board lends further credence to the idea that the device will land with a Snapdragon 810 chip.
This is because the 810 is designed to support 4K decoding, encoding, and streaming, a tough ask for less impressive mobile processors.

The Snapdragon 810 also boasts 64-bit chip architecture, Adreno 430 graphics, a Cat.9 LTE supporting modem, and a built-in killswitch for added security.
It’s not yet clear whether this device is one of the two Samsung Galaxy S6 variants tipped for release this year.
In fact, the device might not even be a smartphone, and could instead land as a seriously powerful tablet.
