Microsoft has confirmed a brand new Xbox App is coming to all Windows 10 devices with enhanced features.
The Xbox App for Windows 10 is aiming to bring the Xbox One's focus on community and social gaming to the PC gaming space.
"Gaming on windows 10 will be more social and interactive, by bringing together the games you play, the people you play with and the epic moments you enjoy together," said Xbox boss, Phil Spencer.
The Windows 10 Xbox app is split into distinct columns. The My Games section is a collection of all the games that you are playing on any Microsoft device, whether that's PC, Xbox One or a mobile device.
The Friends List connects you to you Xbox Live friends, and there's messages too for voice and text chatting across all platforms.
Then of course there's the all important Activity Feed. You can comment on your friends' game clips, share them on your social media networks, access your Achievements and DVR clips too.
Of course, there has to be some PC exclusive features for the new Xbox app. That comes in the form of the ability to save gameplay clips from Windows PC games.
Hitting Windows + G launches a new UI for saving gameplay clips to your Window 10 Xbox app.
Within this new UI, there are options to record, take screenshots, settings and, just like Xbox One, save the last 30 seconds of gameplay.
Game developers themselves won't need to add any functionality to their games for this either, as Microsoft is overlaying the feature itself.
The Xbox app will arrive with Windows 10 later this year.
