The HTC One M9 won’t see an official unveiling until MWC in March, but leak artists seem keen to give us expectant smartphone fans an early look at the handset.
Phandroid has obtained what are purportedly the clearest look yet at the forthcoming flagship, via a ‘trusted, reliable source close to the Taiwanese company.’
As showing in previous leaks, the HTC One M8 successor will show only subtle built changes from the current iteration, with the most obvious being the power button moving from the top to the right side of the device. As a result the volume keys appear to have moved down the side of the handset somewhat.
Judging by the photos posted on Thursday, we could also be looking at a more rounded and slimmer version of the handset than seen in the previous two versions.
Phandroid’s source also substantiates reports claiming an octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset would be powering the HTC One M9.

HTC is largely expected to reveal the handset running Android 5.0 and HTC Sense 7.0 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The company recently sent out invites to a press event on March 1, where the firm’s entry into the wearables market is also likely to be confirmed.
