The HTC One M9’s innards might have just been given a sneak early debut thanks to a spec sheet circulating online.
Doing the rounds on social media over on HTC’s China home-soil is a list of what components could be showing up on the fast-approaching flagship.
For starters, processing heft is tipped to come courtesy of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip.
It touts 4K video and 55MP photo support, improved battery life, and beefy Adreno 420 graphics.
The Snapdragon’s quad-core Krait 450 CPU can handle clock speeds of up to 2.7GHz per core too, meaning the HTC One M9 will be one of the nippiest handsets on store shelves should it land with the chip in tow.
Of course, there’s also a chance the One M9 could land with the Snapdragon 810 chip – we’ll just have to wait and see.
Also whispered to make an appearance are 3GB of memory, a 16MP snapper with optical image stabilisation, and a 3,500mAh battery.
The display will measure up at 5.5-inch with a quad-HD resolution, and Bose-powered stereo speakers will provide handset-borne tuneage.
Also rumoured was a ‘Prime’ version of the device. Details were thin on the ground here, but it could signal an even larger-screened variant.
The HTC One M9 is expected to land early next year, likely at a similar time to the HTC One M8 release which saw a launch on March 25.
