The LG G3 launch event will be live streamed on YouTube the company has revealed.
If you’re looking to catch a piece of the LG G3 launch action from the comfort of your own home, LG has revealed you’ll be able to watch the official unveiling on YouTube.
We’ve embedded the video below so you can see the moment the LG G3 is officially launched, potentially in all its metal glory.
LG G3 Features
The LG G3 is expected to come packed in a lightweight metal body, packing a QHD 2560 x 1440p 5.5-inch display.
Under the hood, you should expect to find a quad-core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of 16GB of internal storage bolstered by microSD card support up to 128GB.
The LG G3 camera should offer a 13-megapixel sensor, complemented by dual LED flash, 4K video recording and a new Laser Auto Focus feature. This will supposedly use an infrared laser to help provide quick and accurate auto focus, while also boosting low-light performance.
This rear camera will be coupled with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfies.
The rear volume rocker and hold button from the LG G2 are still there with the LG G3, but have been given a slight design tweak, making them more rounded and less protruding.
From the looks of all the leaks and official teaser trailers, LG is looking to make its UI design more simplistic, but still offer full functionality. These design changes include a new Touch & Shoot mode for the camera app that removes all unnecessary control clutter from the screen.
Plus, there’s also a new Quick Circle feature on the homescreen that offers easy access to your six most used apps.
