The LG G3 has been officially unveiled and there are five LG G3 colours coming to the UK at launch.
With black, white and gold hued handsets having repeatedly been the subject of leaks in recent weeks, this trio of tones will be joined by more colourful options when the phone hits the market next month.
In a move that echoes recent efforts by rivals Samsung, HTC and Sony, LG will offer consumers a range of colour options, with this trio of oft teased black, white and gold G3 models lining up alongside additional red and violet options.
Obviously, this being a major smartphone release, LG couldn’t simply call these G3 colours options what they are, no.
Instead the LG G3 colours will be known as Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet and Burgundy Red.
“The LG G3 delivers simple style,” James Marshall, LG’s Head of Mobile Marketing said. Discussing how the G3’s colours mimic those of the revised UI, the manufacturer added: “we have pursued beauty in a toned down, elegant way.”
Aside from their outer shells, the five LG G3 colours are identical in every way, all packing stunning 5.5-inch QHD displays alongside a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and a 13-megapixel camera which is further enhanced by a laser auto focus.
The phone adds a revised user interface with the edge-to-edge display cutting down on excess bezels and keeping the overall handset design sleek and elegant.
