The HTC One Mini UK release date will see the sub-sized handset go on sale on August 12, almost a month after it was formally unveiled, a retailer has suggested.
While the Taiwanese handset manufacturer has remained tight-lipped on the HTC One Mini release date, stating only that the phone will be “available in select markets from August,” retailer UnlockedMobiles has claimed the phone will be whinging its way to consumers on August 12.
Having opened its HTC One Mini pre-orders, the retailer has claimed that the SIM-free iteration of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini rival will launch two weeks today. It has also listed the HTC One Mini price tag as a not inconsiderable £364.98.
Dropping in size, spec and price, the HTC One Mini is a suitable sibling the 4.7-inch HTC One, a handset widely regarded as the best smartphone currently on the market.
Retaining the luxurious brushed aluminium form factor of its big brother, the HTC One Mini sees a new 4.3-inch display with a 720p HD resolution line up alongside Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
With a 1.4GHz dual-core processor lining up alongside 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the HTC One Mini specs sheet sees the same 4-UltraPixel snapper as its sibling line up on the handset’s rear. A second, 1.6-megapixel camera features on the handset’s fore.
Lining up at just 9.3mm thick and 122g in weight, the HTC One Mini features list sees the usual array of Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity options further bolstered by integrated by NFC and 4G LTE capabilities.
With HTC having yet to formally confirm the recently announced phone’s formal date of arrival, we have contacted the company for comment on the latest launch claims. We will update this article once we have received a response.
