Tinder’s latest update lets users integrate their Instagram feeds directly into their dating profile.

The new update, which went live today, lets users check out Instagram profiles of potential matches.

This means that you can check out someone’s Instagram snaps without having to leave the Tinder app.

Connecting Instagram to your Tinder will mean your most recent 34 pictures are on show, so die-hard Tinderers would do well to curate their feeds with flattering snaps.

It’s also worth noting that integrating the photo-sharing service into Tinder works around Instagram’s profile privacy settings.

So if you’ve got a private Instagram, other people will still be able to check out your pictures courtesy of Tinder.

The update also added a new ‘common connections’ feature, which will let you see how you’re connected to prospective partners.

It works through Facebook, displaying whether you share any friends with another Tinder user.

The Facebook integration doesn’t stop there however; all of your Facebook interests will now also appear on your profile.

That’s grim news for anyone who hasn’t paid attention to their Facebook likes in a few years, and still lists Pokemon: The First Movie as their favourite flick.

It’s important to note that these features are all free, and will be available to any user regardless of whether they’ve signed up to Tinder’s recently added paid plans.
